|Rich Memorial Beach provides a wonderful opportunity for the residents of Standish to access Sebago Lake. In cooperation with the Portland Water District and The Town of Standish, this municipal facility offers a beautiful sandy beach, swimming, picnic area with outdoor grills, and outhouse facilities. In the winter, there is ice fishing access and parking available. Located in a picturesque cove on Sebago Lake, the calm, shallow water makes it an ideal spot for children to play and swim and for neighbors to meet and socialize.
Beach attendants are available to monitor and protect our community asset. Please say hello and introduce yourselves to them. We are proud of our beach and want to keep it beautiful and safe for all to enjoy! You can do your part by reading and obeying our rules.
We encourage you to let the staff know if you see any problems or have suggestions. Your input is greatly appreciated in our continuing effort to improve and maintain the facility.
