The 2019-2020 Before & After School Program is currently full - please register for the waitlist below and we will contact you if an opening becomes available.             We strive to offer children a program that is affordable, fun and safe. One of the key elements of this program is “play!" Through play, children increase their social competence and emotional maturity. Activities will include indoor and outdoor sports, group games, arts & crafts, music, dance and occasional field trips. Each day quiet time will also be offered for participants to complete daily homework.A parent handbook has been prepared for your convenience. It informs you of our policies and procedures as well as to provide valuable information to help you to navigate the many details involved with this program.  We ask that you keep this handbook in a handy place for easy reference, or please find a copy on our website (below) for your convenience. We are excited for another successful year with our Before/After School Program.  Thank you for being a part of it!          General InformationWho: Children in grades K-5 who attend Edna Libby, Steep Falls and George E. Jack Elementary Schools.Where: George E. Jack Elementary School. Participants who do not attend George E. Jack during the day will be transported by the MSAD6 transportation department. Parents are responsible for making sure to set up transportation with the department. Drop off and pick up are at the side entrance of George E. Jack. Before School Program (BSP): Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., excluding all school vacations, holidays, or snow days at G.E. Jack School. The BSP will not be held on any unscheduled late arrival days (such as those due to weather). Children attending Edna Libby and Steep Falls Schools will be transported from G.E. Jack will arrive at their schools by 8:50 a.m.**Please note the Bonny Eagle MSAD6 Transportation Policy at www.bonnyeagle.orgAfter School Program (ASP): Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., excluding all school vacations, holidays, or snow days at G.E. There will be 10 installments starting with Sept. 1st and the last installment on June 1st.  Before School Program: $112 per month due the first of each month. There will be 10 installments starting with Sept. 1st and the last installment on June 1st. Late Arrival Package: $90 one time fee due in full at time of registration. 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM    Nerf Night - Nerf Night
Who's ready to have some Nerf wars? Each participant will need to bring their own eye protection and Nerf toy. There will be a variety of individual and group challenges/obstacles to participate in. Please not that Standish Recreation is not responsible for any lost or broken Nerf toys. Please mark your child's toy with their name. Standish Recreation will supply all of the darts - please do not bring darts from home. Eye protection is required!

The 2019-2020 Before & After School Program is currently full - please register for the waitlist below and we will contact you if an opening becomes available.             We strive to offer children a program that is affordable, fun and safe. One of the key elements of this program is “play!" Through play, children increase their social competence and emotional maturity. Activities will include indoor and outdoor sports, group games, arts & crafts, music, dance and occasional field trips. Each day quiet time will also be offered for participants to complete daily homework.A parent handbook has been prepared for your convenience. It informs you of our policies and procedures as well as to provide valuable information to help you to navigate the many details involved with this program.  We ask that you keep this handbook in a handy place for easy reference, or please find a copy on our website (below) for your convenience. We are excited for another successful year with our Before/After School Program.  Thank you for being a part of it!          General InformationWho: Children in grades K-5 who attend Edna Libby, Steep Falls and George E. Jack Elementary Schools.Where: George E. Jack Elementary School. Participants who do not attend George E. Jack during the day will be transported by the MSAD6 transportation department. Parents are responsible for making sure to set up transportation with the department. Drop off and pick up are at the side entrance of George E. Jack. Before School Program (BSP): Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., excluding all school vacations, holidays, or snow days at G.E. Jack School. The BSP will not be held on any unscheduled late arrival days (such as those due to weather). Children attending Edna Libby and Steep Falls Schools will be transported from G.E. Jack will arrive at their schools by 8:50 a.m.**Please note the Bonny Eagle MSAD6 Transportation Policy at www.bonnyeagle.orgAfter School Program (ASP): Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., excluding all school vacations, holidays, or snow days at G.E. Jack School.  Children attending Edna Libby and Steep Falls Schools will be transported to G.E. Jack School at the end of the school day.**Please note the Bonny Eagle MSAD6 Transportation Policy at www.bonnyeagle.org. Late Arrival Days: The BSP WILL BE HELD on the district's nine scheduled late arrival days and is included in the fee for BSP participants.  Children enrolled in the ASP are eligible to register for the late arrival days for a fee of $90.00 (pro-rated at $10 per late arrival day), to be paid in full at time of registration. Please call the office at 642-2875 if you would like this option added to your account.Snack Punch Cards: Healthy snacks are available for purchase through our online store to participants in the ASP. Punch cards are $15 and good for 20 snacks ($0.75 per snack). Cards will be held at program location for your convenience. All participants are given a choice of two items per snack. There will be 10 installments starting with Sept. 1st and the last installment on June 1st.  Before School Program: $112 per month due the first of each month.
