Evergreen Cemetery

Established in 1854, the Evergreen Cemetery in Portland was designed by Charles H. Howe as a rural landscape with winding carriage paths, ponds, footbridges, gardens, a chapel, funerary art, and sculpture. Join us for an educational walk around the cemetery as your guide will offer trivia and interesting facts. After our walk we will cross the street to eat our packed lunches. Please bring your own lunch packed to keep cool along with a chair and some water or a drink. Our lunches will be kept on the van during the walk.

Please note: When riding in the van, registrants should wear a mask at all times for your safety and others. We ask that when social distancing of 6 ft. is not possible, to please be considerate of others and wear a mask. Temperatures will be taken before participants get on the bus and hand sanitizer will be offered.
