Spring Wellness Day at Nurture Through Nature

Experience Nature and your own inherent sense of well-being on this spring wellness day! This offering provides opportunity for mindful movement and time to connect in the natural world. You will begin your day with a brief guided meditation and gentle Qi Gong practice. Then you will enjoy a healthy, vegetarian lunch and then transition out on the beautiful retreat lead for a guided Forest Therapy walk which is sure to wake up your senses and connection to all of life.

Qi Gong Practice: Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese healing art designed to enhance one’s capacity to work effectively with life-force energy, known as Qi. Our time together will be shared through activating our Qi, releasing and purifying blocked energy, tonifying our internal power, as well as gentle stretching & slow flowing movements.

Guided Forest Therapy Walk: A Forest Therapy walk is a guided meander through the forest to re-establish a truer sense of overall health and well-being. Through simple sensory invitations of awareness, participants strengthen their connection to the natural environment around them. This connection has been proven to create profound changes for both people’s mental and physical health. Research shows that prolonged moments in forests reduce stress, anxiety, depression and fatigue. A gentle and kind opportunity to experience the magic and messages of nature. Dress is comfortable, loose fitting clothing. Bring layers for both inside and out in variable spring conditions.
