Below are a few lovely spots to launch your kayak, canoe or paddleboard. If you know of another spot that we haven't listed, please call us at 642-2875 to let us know and we will share!

Rich Memorial Beach:
This location has a lovely sandy beach ideal for paddling. Free parking and outhouse facilities are available. There is a short walk down a wooden boardwalk (or on the side of the boardwalk) that your canoes and kayaks must be carried. We do not allow any vessels to be dragged down the wooden boardwalk so if it is too heavy for carrying, please drag down footpath to the side of the boardwalk. Access to the beach is for Standish residents only who have purchased a Beach Membership. For more information about purchasing a Beach Membership click here:

Kiwanis Beach:
Kiwanis Beach is located at 40 Kiwanis Beach Road (off Route 25) in Standish, ME and is a private beach open to the public on Watchic Lake. This beach is open in the summer months from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting) and is a perfect spot to put in your canoe or kayak. Parking, snack shack and public restrooms available. There is a $5 fee for putting in non-motorized paddling vessels. Please call (207) 642-3071 for more information.

Sticky River:
There is a lovely spot off Route 114 North (Richville Rd.) with a few parking spots. Vessels should be put in across the street from the parking lot and must be carried to the small clearing in order to put in the water. From Sebago Lake Village at the corner of 114/35, travel North on Rt. 114 for about a half a mile and you will come to a bridge and see the small dirt parking lot on your left.
