Animal Shelter Helpers is for kids who want to travel with us after school to volunteer at the Animal Refuge League in Westbrook. During their time at the shelter, they will get a chance to learn how to interact with all different kinds of animals and perform volunteering tasks such as; cleaning, sorting donations, making food or toys for the animals, or helping with any other tasks as needed by the shelter.
All participants must be picked up at George E. Jack School at 5:00pm.
Caution for anyone with nut allergies: Peanuts and tree nuts are regularly used at the shelter.
